About the Event
This event will be hosted on campus on the 10th of May 2023 4-6pm in Kleve.
Our main focus will be the ongoing situation of banks and the financial sector in the US and Europe. Lately, we have seen 3 of the 4 biggest defaults of banks in US history. Also, one of the biggest banks in Europe, Credit Suisse had to be rescued in a widely criticized deal.
Why?
What does that mean?
Are there bigger implications?
Does this affect me?
Will we see another major financial crisis as 2008/2009?
After we give our first short input, we would like to debate and discuss with you those questions and other interesting topics you may come up with.
